Baphomet is an early 14th century idol of a deity that the Knights Templar were suspect of worshiping, and that later was incorporated into contrasting occult and mystical customs. The modern representation of Baphomet is a goats head on a humans body.

The occultist and magician of the late 19 th to mid-20 th century, Aleister Crowley interpreted Baphomet as the “Divine Androgyne. ” This statue shows Baphomet in his classic state sitting with his legs crossed upon the globe. He bares the Latin words SOLVE (separate) and COAGULA (join together) on his arms, a pentagram on his forehead and the flame of intelligence is shining in between his large horns.
