Pennywise is the demonic entity from the 1990 psychological miniseries, “It”. It is based on Steven King’s novel of the same name. This story takes place over two different time periods. In the first part Pennywise is a brutal wisecracking clown with bright red hair that a group of troubled kids discovered and swore to get rid of him for good anyway they could. By part two the voracious clown resurfaces and the kids are now all grown up and are on a mission the defeat this “It” once and for all! Pennywise is also the terrifying dancing clown from the new 2017 psychological film, “It”. The character played by actor Bill Skarsgård is an entity which prays upon the kids of Derry, Maine every 27 years or so. Pennywise uses a variety of his powers that which include shapeshifting, manipulation and going unnoticed by adults to hunt the children of the neighborhood. A group of bullied kids band together to try and rid of this horrible clown that has frightened the town kids of Derry.
