Michael Myers made his first appearance in John Carpenters classic 1978 movie in the franchise that would span five decades. The Halloween 2018 movie is a direct sequel to the 1978 original and takes place 40 years after Michael's first spree in Haddonfield. This film will focus on Laurie Strode and her first encounter with Michael Myers since she was babysitting Tommy and escaped him 40 years ago. The new film disregards all of the previous sequels and puts this horror series on another track.
