Sha had learnt the secrets of immortality, how to enter the minds of others and how to heal with a mere touch, yet she was unable to see the future. Through her long existences, she awaited the reincarnation of her lover, whom aeons ago she slain in a jealous rage. Upon meeting an unwitting explorer from the empire of a foreign queen, she at last saw her lost love and beseeched him to pass though a primal pillar of fire so they both could be conjoined in immortality. Alas, as Ayesha stepped into the flame for a second immersion, her life-preserving power was lost, and she begun to wither and revert to her true age. All that remained was a skull and a whisper on the wind, “Forget me not, for I shall rise again”.

The skull blazes with a Siam red Austrian crystal, igniting the piece with gothic fire.
