The Salem Witch Trials were a series of trials and prosecutions of people accused of Witchcraft in Massachusetts in the early 1690’s. After a group of young girls claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several local woman of witchcraft, a wave of hysteria spread throughout colonial Massachusetts. These trials resulted in the death of twenty people, all of them put to death by hanging but one. The Witchcraft Skull is made of cold cast resin and has finely detailed carvings of many of the symbols such as the triple moon and the triquetra. It's made to look like a realistic skull.
