Hellraiser

Hellraiser is a horror franchise that consists of nine films, a series of comic books and tons of collectable merchandise and media. The franchise is based on the novella “The Hellbound Heart” by English writer, film director and visual artist Clive Barker. The movies as well as the comic book series continually feature the Cenobite Pinhead. The storyline focuses on a puzzle box known as “Lament Configuration”. The box opens the gateway to the Hell-like realm of the Cenobites. They are an order of previously human mutants who yield human souls to torture in sadomasochistic experiments.
