Friday The 13th

Jason Voorhees is the serial killer character in the Friday the 13^th horror movie series. As a young boy Jason drowned in the lake at Camp Crystal Lake due to the negligence of the camps counselors. Decades later the camp and lake is rumored to be “cursed”. While the series starts out that his own mom is the killer, seeking revenge for her son’s death, adult Jason soon emerges and seeks his own revenge for the murder of his mother. The original mask was molded from Detroit Red Wings goalie mask, and became the staple look for his character for the rest of the series.
