The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that was most commonly used in writing and in art to represent the word “life”. The ankh was usually held in the hands of deities, or being given to them by the pharaoh to represent their power to sustain life and to resurrect souls in the afterlife. This Ankh is hand painted in black and gold tones, and is very detailed, it’s made of cold cast resin. There is a hook on the back for wall mounting.
