Sandstone Anubis Box

This Sandstone Anubis Box is a beautifully detailed hand painted decorative piece that will bring that perfect Egyptian style to your home or office. Anubis is the Greek name of a god associated with mummification and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian religion. He is usually illustrated as a canine or a man with a canine head. Like many ancient Egyptian deities, Anubis assumed different roles. He was depicted as a protector of graves, an embalmer and a god who escorted souls into the afterlife. This trinket box is hand painted and very detailed, it’s made of cold cast resin. There is black felt on the bottom to protect your surfaces.
