Cthulhu keychain is the beastly-entity creation of writer H.P. Lovecraft. This large octopus-like creature from the deep sea first appeared in his short story “The Call of Cthulhu” in 1928 in the magazine “Weird Tales”. The Cthulhu is described as being an ancient entity of vast powers that can control the minds of humans. He is a mix between a man, an enormous octopus and a dragon. He has human-like arms, wings on his back, feelers all over his face and is green and scaly. R’lyeh is the sunken lost city in the South Pacific where the Cthulhu is now a prisoner of.
This pewter looking, metal keychain has Cthulhu on the front with the words of his worshippers chant "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" ("In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.") This keychain has a lobster claps and swivel ring.
This Keychain comes sealed in plastic packaging. The overall size is 5.5 x 2 inches. The Cthulhu part is 2 inches round.
